This is our third time participating in The Secret Recipe Club. So far it has been a fun run. For our first assignment we made Cherry & Coconut Bars. Last month we made an amazing Manchego Jalapeno Cornbread. Which brings us to this month. Our assignment – Jam Hands.
Ali from Jam Hands makes a lot of sweets which all sounded great and I wish I could have made and eaten all of her sweet goodness. Unfortunately I am on a hard cord diet as Jason and I are going to Santorini very soon. With that said, I chose the Banana Ice Cream which is embarrassingly easy, but deserves to be shared!
It was also very timely that she had this recipe on her blog because I recently saw Claire Robinson from 5 Ingredient Fix make this exact thing and I had it on my to do list.
As it is only 1 ingredient it is extremely healthy and low calorie. It is creamy like gelato (I swear!) without the fat and calories. You can also add a little chocolate syrup or peanut butter to the mix to increase deliciousness.
Enjoy!!
Banana Gelato

DIRECTIONS
Cut bananas in slices and put on a cookie sheet and freeze for a few hours or whenever you are ready to use it.
